Starting my Goodwin Apprenticeship at the Training School gave me a good start to engineering, my pathway then took me to Goodwin International where I was given the opportunity to gain a firm background in CNC machining and developed a keen interest in programming.

Mineral Application

At the Goodwin Training School you quickly gain vital knowledge and hands-on experience in the workshop and classroom. After the training centre your development continues on-site furthering your practical skills in a supportive industry environment.

Health & Safety

I started the Goodwin Apprenticeship Scheme in 2014 and to this day I haven’t looked back. When I started I had only basic knowledge of health and safety, but now I am learning something new everyday and am growing in my job role.

Graphic Design

Before starting at Goodwin I had no real engineering knowledge, but the lecturers and staff at Goodwin’s own training facility build your knowledge up from the very basics, pushing you all the time to do your best, helping out wherever they could.

Methods Engineering

The past 18 months in the methods office has really opened my eyes. Having nonstop support from workers with great knowledge and experience making you excel to your full potential has really helped me overcome my challenges.

Metrology

My practical skills and engineering knowledge have improved vastly since starting with Goodwin International. I am now working in a niche field that I thoroughly enjoy. I feel that I am learning new things all of the time and am encouraged to do so.
