Get Here
Location
The training centre is situated on Leek Road, just outside Hanley City Centre and is a 10 to 15 minute walk, or a 5 minute bike ride, from Hanley Bus Station, making it very convenient for you to get to.
From Alsager, Kidsgrove, Tunstall or Burslem
The First Bus 3A Mainline route runs from Alsager through Kidsgrove and onto Tunstall & Burslem before arriving at Hanley bus station.
From Longton
If you live in Longton, or the surrounding areas, the number 11 First Bus route will bring you to New Finney Gardens, which is only a 10 minute walk from the Training Centre. The journey usually takes around 25 minutes from Upper Cross Street.
From Newcastle-under-Lyme
If you live in Newcastle and will be travelling by bus you can catch the number 64 Arriva bus from Newcastle bus station straight into Hanley bus station. The bus journey takes around 20 minutes.

Estimating Manager, Goodwin Steel Castings
Throughout the course of his four year apprenticeship Liam has gained a vast amount of knowledge & experience in his department. Liam has gained many job specific skills such as reading & understanding manufacturing drawings, reviewing and coordinating in depth first principle costing systems, coordinating & compiling substantial bid packages for large contracts.
Since completing his apprenticeship Liam has gone on to become the main estimator at Goodwin Steel Castings and deals with multi million pound quotations on a daily basis.
