How it Works

The apprentice project is based around an on the job training concept, which enables us to ensure that the apprentices show interest in what they are learning and that the right work ethic and attitude is adopted from the very start. 

All of our trainees will go through a formal four year apprentice training programme including off the job tuition in our bespoke training centre.E

Yes! The Goodwin Apprenticeship Sheme allows you to earn while you learn. The Group pays above average apprentice wage rates with good potential future earnings.

The majority of the training within the apprentice scheme will be in the form of one-to-one 6 week modules at the seven Goodwin UK company sites in Staffordshire. 

All of our trainees will go through a formal four year apprentice training programme including off the job tuition in our bespoke training centre.

Goodwin Apprentices who show the correct attitude and desire to perform well in the workplace will have the opportunity to progress to a career within the Goodwin group of companies, regardless of the qualifications that they arrive with.

Yes.  All apprentices qualify to Level 3 in Manufacturing Engineering and gain further qualifications depending on their journey within the Group.

All apprentices who make their way through the Goodwin Apprenticeship Scheme benefit from a structured training programme. Each individual is given the same encouraging start, but as their strengths and merits are exposed, a tailored route of training is developed to provide them with the most effective opportunity to grow and build the best career, to benefit both them and the company they are placed with.
